Contest information
- All registered delegates are welcome to join the contest which consists of Theme 1 and / or Theme 2
- First round of competition: Present your case over a webinar prior to the conference
- Final round of competition: Top 5 contestants in the 1st round of competition will present again during DASy 2026 main conference (11-13 Sep 2026)
- Competition participants will be eligible for complementary registration for the conference
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the winners. Specific prize details are currently being finalized and will be announced shortly.
Theme 1: Innovative solution for a challenging condition in dialysis access
Presentation Guidelines
- Present your case in 8 mins (including clinical videos & photos), followed by a 5 minutes Q& A with the judges.
- In your presentation, state the nature of the challenging condition and demonstrate how this problem was solved.
- Your presentation should include the following key aspects:
- Explain the clinical problem and challenges
- Describe the treatment options and subsequent management
- Describe the innovative / novel part of the management solution
- Encouraged to show the intervention or operative video
- Describe the outcomes (immediate and/or intermediate term)
- Treatment may include open surgery, endovascular intervention or hybrid
Theme 2: Vascular access quality improvement driven by innovation and corporation
Presentation Guidelines
- Present your quality improvement project in 8 mins, followed by a 5 minutes Q& A with the judges.
- Your presentation should include the following key aspects:
- Current issue / problem / challenges in your dialysis access service
- Content of the quality improvement project
- Innovative / novel component
- Impact of the quality improvement project (short and intermediate term)
- The quality improvement project can be new service, collaboration, logistics, workflow happened in the hospital, dialysis centers, national health authority or the community
