Contest Information
Theme:
Successful managing a serious or rare complication of HD access
Overview
- All delegates are welcome to join the contest. All contestants’ conference registration fee will be waived.
- First round of competition: Present your case over a zoom webinar on 30th Sep 2023 Sat
- Second round of competition: Top 3 contestants in the 1st round of competition will present again during DASy main conference on 7th Oct 2023

Presentation Guidelines
- Present your case in 8 mins (including clinical videos & photos), followed by a 5 minutes Q& A with the judges.
- In your presentation, state the nature of the complication and demonstrate how this complication was being resolved and rectified.
- Your presentation should include the following key aspects:
- Explain the complication & challenges
- Describe the treatment & management
- Describe the outcomes (short, intermediate term)
- Treatment could be open surgery, endovascular intervention or hybrid

- Now till 17th September 2023
Prizes
- Gold Prize: Certificate & $1,500 travel grant to visit any of the DASy faculty member’s practice
- Silver Prize: Certificate & $1,000 travel grant to visit any of the DASy faculty member’s practice
- Bronze Prize: Certificate & $800 travel grant to visit any of the DASy faculty member’s practice
- The travel grant will be reimbursed upon receipt of the invoice (e.g. Hotel or airfare) and information related to the visited faculty.
